Summer Course DIPTP 2026
The Summer Course 2026: New Horizons in Interdisciplinary Tropical Animal Production through Smart Precision Farming for Sustainability, Climate Resilience, and Global Partnership builds upon the successful implementation of the DIPTP Summer Course program, which has been continuously organized since 2018 and has attracted increasing international participation each year. Through collaborations with international scholars and institutions, the program has evolved into a credible academic platform for advancing tropical animal science, strengthening research collaboration, and promoting global engagement in sustainable livestock development.
Organized by the Department of Animal Production and Technology, Faculty of Animal Science, IPB University, in collaboration with Universitas Sumatera Utara and Universiti Putra Malaysia, the program will be conducted in a hybrid format from July 28 to August 11, 2026. The Summer Course integrates lecture series, excursion activities, and the International Student Conference & Innovation Competition (ISCIC), and focusing on sustainable tropical livestock systems, smart precision farming, climate resilience, and global partnerships.
Through interdisciplinary learning, scientific discussion, industry exposure, and community engagement, the Summer Course 2026 aims to strengthen international collaboration and contribute to the development of sustainable and climate-resilient tropical animal production systems.
